Pennsylvania event for seniors and eldercare professionals

Written By: Kathryn Jordan

The state of Pennsylvania will host an event for eldercare professionals and seniors that could be a good opportunity to distribute logo merchandise for individuals who own or are in charge of a retirement home.

The 50 Plus Senior Expo will begin on June 1 and last only one day, according to the event's website. The show, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m., will take place at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Dauphin County. The expo's organizers estimate that about 75 exhibitors will be present and say many seniors will be attending in order to learn about new facilities.

Some seniors have difficulty seeing at night, which can make getting up for a glass of water or a trip to the bathroom difficult. Glow in the dark light switch plates could make for great promotional products at this upcoming expo because they can help elderly people spot nearby switches at night. Best of all, they are small and lightweight, meaning seniors shouldn't have too much trouble bringing them home.
