The purpose of The Barracks Banner is to provide a forum for users
to share their messages back to the people back in the States. It is not
designed as an "open" forum for discussion and/or opinions about politics,
wars, US military actions, conflicts and/or any other topics. This site is
provided free-of-charge and without obligation.
The use and/or visitation of The Barracks Banner site functions as your
consent to abide by the following Terms & Conditions, which set forth all
legally binding agreements between you and The Barracks Banner and its sponsor Overture,
LLC. (referred to as "The Barracks Banner"). By accessing this Web site and/or using
its services, you agree to all terms set forth, which you are advised to read carefully
and print for your records. Anyone who does not agree with the Terms & Conditions herein
must cease from accessing The Barracks Banner. You agree to release The Barracks Banner

While The Barracks Banner respects and acknowledges each
individual's right to his or her own opinions and beliefs, it reserves the right
to review all messages submitted prior to posting on the banner. Any content that is
deemed to be offensive, in violation of personal rights, jeopardizes that safety of
any person and/or includes inappropriate content may be excluded from being posted.
However, The Barracks Banner is not responsible for monitoring user messages and is under
no obligation to alter, delete or exclude objectionable content. Each user
is individually responsible for content posted and The Barracks Banner makes no
warranties, express or implied, regarding the vailidity or veracity of any content posted by
users. Said content does not reflect the policies and/or views of The Barracks Banner or
its sponsor, Overture, LLC. Overture, LLC. reserves the right to censor any and all
comments for any reason deemed fit.
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT
The Barracks Banner reserves the right to take appropriate actions regarding prohibited content which include, but are not limited to, excluding inappropriate submissions; removing prohibited entries; and taking appropriate legal action when circumstances warrant doing so. Not limited to the provisions below, prohibited submissions include content that:
a. Promote explicit hatred, racism or harm against any person or groups of people;
b. Directly or indirectly harass another person;
c. Contain sexually explicit and/or violent material;
d. Are used to solicit any personal details and contact information of minors under the age of eighteen;
e. Solicit personal information to be used for commercial purposes;
f. Are of a commercial nature, including but not limited to sweepstakes, contests and pyramid schemes, and is used for unauthorized solicitations;
g. Promote illegal activities of any kind or is defamatory, injurious, indecent, intimidating, false and/or misleading;
h. Are of a misleading and deceptive nature used with the intent, but not limited to, increasing exposure and drawing attention for self-promotion;
i. Are sent in the form of spam, junk mail or other forms of mass, unsolicited mailings;
j. Promote the illegal use of copyrighted material and/or provide information on how to obtain pirated and illegal material of any kind;
k. Are contrary to the stated purpose of the Web site as described above.
3. WEBSITE ACCESS
As deemed by your compliance of these Terms & Conditions, you are given permission to
use this Web site by The Barracks Banner. Your consent to do so is limited to
non-commercial use. Sending unsolicited emails, posting commercial advertisements,
affiliate links and any other form of commercial promotion are strictly prohibited.
By using this Web site, you agree to abstain from the use of, but not limited to,
automated systems, such as "bots" or "spiders" that send automated requests to The
Barracks Banners servers. You also agree to cease from harvesting user information
from this Web site to be used for commercial solicitation. Any unauthorized and
illegal use of this Web site may result in appropriate legal action.
No part of this Web site shall be altered or used for any other purpose
than its intended use, nor is any part of this Web site permitted to be

4. CONTENT RIGHTS
The Barracks Banner does not claim ownership and rights to any content or other works of authorship posted on this Web site by its users. After your submission is posted, you will continue to hold all ownership rights to your posted content, as well as all rights to use your content in any way, shape or form according to your discretion. On this site, such content must be within the limitations of prohibited content as deemed by these Terms & Conditions. By posting content on this site, you are hereby granting The Barracks Banner a limited license for using, altering, duplicating and distributing such content exclusively on The Barracks Banner site; in promotional activities for the site; in the printing of the banner and display in public loations; and/or offering copies of the banner for distribution and/or resale. The Barracks Banner is an Internet posting site that allows its users to submit individual personal messages that can be shared and viewed by users of the site and on the printed banner. The Barracks Banner's users can view posted messages and link to the companion banner site, The Barracks Banner, to view its posted messages. Users can submit their messages to the troops for posting. The Barracks Banner clearly has its users' best interests in mind regarding their privacy and security.
The Barracks Banner may gather personal information when you submit your message for posting or otherwise willingly provide such personal information. The Barracks Banner may store personal information such as name, city and state to be included in the information posted with your message. All email addresses collected from you will be used solely and exclusively to communicate with you regarding your submissions and site updates to The Barracks Banner. Personal information will not be shared and/or sold to third parties or other entities.
